Lecture Session on “The Role of Market Research in Branding”

A lecture session on “The Role of Marketing Research in Branding” was held in East Delta University campus today on 30th October 2011, Sunday at 10 a.m. The session was anchored by the coordinator of M.B.A. at EDU, Associate Professor Dr. Mir Md. Nurul Absar Nahid. The chief presenter Mrs. Tasnim Al—Karim, Brand & Research consultant of customer goods division at Abul Khair Group said that to sustain in this competitive world of business, branding of service and products must be done through proper marketing research. She highlighted different salient aspects of marketing research and brand management to EDU students. At the beginning of the session EDU faculty Tofatunessa Chowdhury introduced the chief presenter in her welcome speech and received her with a bouquet. The chief presenter Mrs. Tasnim Al—Karim, through a power point presentation, lectured on the essential elements of Brand Marketing and answered the queries of EDU students. After the lecture session Mrs. Tasnim Al—Karim was offered a crest by the coordinator of M.B.A. at EDU, Associate Professor Dr. Mir Md. Nurul Absar Nahid and thanked by EDU faculty Tofatunessa Chowdhury. Sobail bin Hossain, a student of BBA at EDU presented the reflection of EDU through slides. EDU faculty Dr. Obaydul Karim, Mr. Pulak Barua, Director Finance & Accounts Mr. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Registrar Mr. Sajal Barua and Public Relation Officer Romel Raihan, Senior Executive Fatema Harun Daisy and Executive IT Samirul Akter Shakil were also present in the lecture session.
