An Agreement On Collaboration Signed Between EDU And Central Michigan University, USA

An agreement on collaboration in education was signed between East Delta University and Central Michigan University, USA on 2nd June 2012 at East Delta University campus (Probortok Circle). The honorable Vice Chancellor of EDU, Professor M. Sekander Khan was the Chairperson of the program. The guest of honor of the program, Chairman of the advisory board of EDU, Associate Dean and  MBA Director at Central Michigan University, USA, Prof. Dr. Debashish Chokroborty said that the agreement allows academic course transfer in graduate and undergraduate levels, exchange of faculties and stuffs, exchange of students for higher studies between the two universities and organization of international symposiums and conferences. He also said that EDU is determined to impart world standard education.

The Chief Guest of the program, the director of IBA of Dhaka University, Prof. G. M. Chowdhury said, “It is appreciable that EDU has never compromised with the standard of quality education. The name and fame of EDU has spread across the country because of its combination of experienced and skilled faculties, upgraded technology and brilliant students.” The special guest of the program, the Dean of Faculties at North South University, Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan thanked all concerned in EDU for maintaining the standard of quality education. The Vice Chairman of EDU Trustee Board, Mr. Sayeed Al Noman promised the students to provide with all required facilities for ensuring a bright future. A speech of welcome was given by the Associate Dean at East Delta University, Prof. A. Qaiyum Chowdhury and a vote of thanks was expressed by the coordinator of MBA at EDU, Associate Professor Dr. Mir Md. Nurul Absar. The program was anchored by Mehnaz Huda and Zaheda Karim. A befitting role play was staged by Ahsab Uddin, Zaed Jubaer, Sumaiya Mehzabin, Fahima Haroon, Fatema Munir and others. Among others, EDU faculty Dr. Obaidul Kader, Dr. Gurupada Chokroborty, Dr. Javed Hossain, Assistant Professor Rafia Akter, Rashed al Karim, Tohfatunnessa, Asaduzzaman, Pulak Barua, Ishtiak Aziz Jahed, Registrar in Charge Mr. Khalilur Rahman, Deputy Registrar Mr. Sajal Barua, Public Relation Officer Romel Raihan, and student counselor Kowshiki Dhar were present in the program.
