B.SC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)

The objective of BS degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering is to enable the students to be competent professionals as well as to perform further studies. It is Approx. 150 credit hour programs requiring about 4 years completing in 12 semesters and every semester needs 15 weeks to complete.

Students willing to obtain a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering will have to follow the general guidelines of degree requirements at EDU. This means that the students will have to fulfill the requirements in the individual categories of writing courses, general education courses, basic science courses mathematics courses, program core courses, optional core courses, technical elective courses. The courses in the area of major are divided into ‘program core courses' and optional core courses.

A minimum qualification for admission is HSC and SSC pass certificates with minimum CGPA of 2.5 in both or a minimum GPA 2.0 in either SSC or HSC but the combined GPA is not less than 6.0. For O' level in at least 5 subjects with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and A' level in at least 2 subjects with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.

Total Degree Requirement is minimum.150 Credits for B.SC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE). One lecture credit hour represents 1 hour per week of scheduled time. Most lecture courses are awarded 3 credit hours.  Over an entire semester, this formula represents at least 45 hours of class time per semester. One laboratory credit hour represents 1 hour per week of supervised or independent laboratory work.  Most laboratory courses are awarded up to 1 credit hours.  This calculation represents at least 15 hours of class time per semester.

Finally the students are required to complete a project/thesis/internship in their field of specialization.
