"East Delta University is on a mission. The mission is enriching the quality of life by disseminating knowledge. There are, at least, five imperatives by which a University's quality of standard should be measured: Faculty pool, student recruitment, research scope, campus facilities and the last but not least, its curricula. Focusing on these cores, East Delta University began its endeavour in 2003 when it was first conceptualized and its operation in December 2007 in Chittagong, Bangladesh.

We are confident that EDU, over time, will evolve into a model institution of higher learning, encouraging creative thinking, promoting value-based education, recognizing the need to adapt internationally, yet careful in maintaining the basic core of our national identity.
