Hello:

Welcome to East Delta University! It is an immense personal pleasure to serve as the Chairman of the advisory council for the university. I pledge to do the best I can to assemble a great academic team from all over the world. A university is known by the quality of academics it brings to its students. We are in the process of establishing the most rigorous and up-to-date curriculum, best team of faculty members, modern facilities and a comprehensive learning environment for students to learn and transform their dreams into reality. We will have faculty members from all over the world teaching in both our undergraduate and post graduate classes. We have already developed a very active collaboration with foreign universities to bring the best in academic opportunities for our students. We are very cognizant of the fact that at the end of the day it is job placement that matters to most students. With that in mind we are putting together a placement cell focused in developing corporate relationship.

Please join me in creating history. Together we can do it. Let us embark upon this journey of advancing knowledge and enriching lives one at a time.

Dr. Debasish Chakraborty is a professor of Economics at Central Michigan University. He has earned his BA and MA in Economics from Calcutta University. He has earned his Ph.D. in International Finance from University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States. His teaching and research interest lies in the area of international trade and finance. He has published many scholarly articles in reputed international journals. He is a consultant for General Motors and Chrysler Corporation. He has established two business schools in Calcutta, India and San Jose, Costa Rica.
