Who can apply

Undergraduate program:
I. Regular students

a)   SSC / HSC :

  • At least 2nd Division in each of the SSC & HSC or equivalent Public Examinations or GPA 2.5 or equivalent grade in each of the SSC and HSC or equivalent Public Exams is a must
  •  in case of GPA 2.0 in any of the SSC or HSC or equivalent Public Exams then cumulative GPA 6.0 of both the examinations is a must.

           b) O-Levels / A-Levels:

  • Minimum of 5 subjects in O-Levels and 2 subjects in A-Levels.
  • Among above 7 subjects, you must have 26.5 points.

Students who have passed GED must have minimum 5 subjects with average marks of 450 and at least 400 in each.

c)  In case of Music, Fine Arts, Graphic Design in SSC/O-Levels and HSC/A- Levels or equivalent in any Public Examinations GPA 2.0 in each of the exams is a must

d) In case of Freedom Fighters ‘ Ward , total of GPA 5.0 in SSC and HSC or any equivalent Public Examinations is a must.

e) For admission into the Postgraduate degree program, in addition to fulfilling all the above requirements for admission into the Undergraduate program, at least GPA 2.00 in the Undergraduate program is a must.

f) GCE A-Level and O-Level students  who have passed the American High School Examination and the International Baccalaureate examinations are also eligible for admission. The University may take other systems into consideration.

  • Letters of Recommendation.
  • Admission Test (Administered by EDU) Performance.

II. Transferee

Students with previous University credits would be considered for admission. Students willing to transfer are also required to provide official transcript from their previous institutions and generally, a grade point average of 3.00 or above is considered essential for a transferee to have good chance for admission into East Delta University. In case of transfer from Foreign Universities, the case may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Transfer applicants would be required to meet the EDU’s standard criteria.

III. Foreign students

Foreign students seeking admission to EDU must meet the same academic standard of admission laid out for native students. Applicants are selected on the basis of their prior academic achievement. English proficiency and certification of required financial ability.

IV. Provisional students

Students may be admitted temporarily pending the ability of HSC/A-Level examination results or the transfer of credentials. If the provisionally admitted student cannot produce the appropriate documentation, his/her admission is likely to be cancelled.

Post graduate Program:

  • A relevant Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university with a grade point average of 2.00 or more on a scale of 4.00.
  • A relevant four year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least a second class or a relevant two years Bachelor’s Degree with at least second class in all previous exams.
  • Letters of Recommendation.
  • Admission Test (Administered by EDU) Performance.

Students may be required to complete pre-requisite courses (based on prior academic work and admission test performance) at EDU before starting their program.
