    • Bachelor of Science in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering (ETE)
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE)
    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)

     

    Application Requirements
    UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
    SSC / HSC :

    • S.S.C & H.S.C/equivalent Public Examination with total GPA of 5.00 or above with at least 2.50 in each examination.

    or

    • S.S.C & H.S.C/equivalent Public Examination with total GPA of 6.00 or above if the GPA in any of the examinations is less than 2.50 but not less than 2.00

    O-Levels / A-Levels:

    • 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with total minimum 26.5 points.
    • GCE A-Level and O-Level students who have passed the American High School Examination and the International Baccalaureate Examinations are also eligible for admission. The University may take other systems into consideration.
    Students who have passed GED may also apply provided they have completed minimum 5 subjects with average marks of 450 and at least 400 in each.

    MBA ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
    • A relevant Undergraduate Degree from an accredited university with a grade point average of 2.00 or more on a scale of 4.00.
    • A relevant four year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least a second class or a relevant two years Bachelor’s Degree with at least second class in all previous exams.
    • Letters of Recommendation.(Applicable for MBA corporate offer)
    • Admission Test (Administered by EDU) Performance.
    Scholarships and Financial Aid :
    UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS
    Grants & Scholarships:

    • Chairman’s Distinguished Scholarship: for new Students
      Students of each program who have succeeded in achieving Golden GPA in both SSC and HSC or who have scored total 32 points in O & A Levels (provided the applicant does not have any grade lower than ‘B’) are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
      • BoT Grant: for new Students
        Students of each program who have succeeded in achieving GPA of 4.5 and above individually in SSC and HSC or who have scored total 30 points in O & A Levels (provided the applicant does not have any grade lower than ‘C’) are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

    Recognition of Outstanding Academic Performance:
    Throughout your study at EDU, your academic performance will be measured and awarded accordingly. Names of students are announced regularly who are entitled to receive the following awards.

    • Chairman’s Outstanding Student Award
      Students who have secured CGPA of 4.0 in three consecutive semesters are entitled to this award
    • Chairman’s Merit Award
      Students who have secured CGPA of 3.85 in three consecutive semesters are entitled for this award
    • VC’s List
      Students who have secured GPA of 4.0 in a semester are included in this list.
    • Dean’s List
      Students who have secured GPA of 3.5 in a semester are included in this list.

    Financial Support (Special Case: For sons’ and daughters’ of Freedom
    Fighter & Students from Underdeveloped Areas):

    Up to 100% Tuition waiver will be granted to 6% of the total number of existing students of East Delta University on first come first served basis. 3% of the quota is reserved for sons’ & daughters’ of freedom fighters and other 3% is for the students coming from underdeveloped areas. To qualify for these Financial Support students must provide the valid documents that they are indeed sons’ or daughters’ of a freedom fighter and in need of financial assistance. (Other conditions may also apply, for more details, contact Admissions Office).
    For the continuation of the Financial Support, existing students must:

    • Enroll four (4) courses (every semester).
    • Maintain CGPA of 2.50 or above for sons’ & daughters’ of freedom
      fighters & CGPA of 3.00 for the students coming from underdeveloped
      areas.

    Merit Come Need-Based Financial Support:
    Up to 100% tuition waiver is offered to the students who has excellent academic records in SSC, HSC and at EDU. Students apply for this Financial Support within a date prescribed by the respective office in a pre-set application form.

    Students who have completed two (2) semesters at EDU may apply for this Financial Support

    MBA PROGRAM

    Grants & Scholarships:

      • BoT Grant: for new Students
        Students of each program who have succeeded in achieving GPA of 4.5 and above individually in SSC and HSC or who have scored total 30 points in O & A Levels (provided the applicant does not have any grade lower than ‘C’) are eligible to apply for these scholarships.

  • Is East Delta University Affordable?

    The university is dedicated to enrolling outstanding students who will benefit from and contribute to an educational environment of the university, where faculty members and students collaborate in the discovery of knowledge.

    Expenses:
    Application fee:

    A fee assessed with the initial application to cover all application handling costs and admission materials.

    Library/overdue fees:

    All overdue books are assessed a charge for each overdue notice. A replacement cost and processing fee will be assessed for lost items.

    Semester fee:

    This covers library and computer labortory fees.

    Payment policy:

    Students assume the responsibility of paying tuition and other fees in accordance with the following financial policies:

    • Admission fee is non refundable and is due at the time of admission.
    • Course fee is due within stipulated deadline of a semester.
    • Students failing to pay their course fees in time will have to pay a late fee (details of fees can be obtained from the Registrar’s office).
    • University authority reserves the right to cancel the enrollment/admission of any student failing to meet the financial obligation.

    Tuition Fee:
