Former Minister Abdullah Al Noman At The Reception Program Of EDU Students

“East Delta University being built at world standard”

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of East Delta University and the Former Minister of the Govt. of Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh Abdullah Al Noman, in his speech of the Chief Guest at the reception program to the Champions of The Daily Star and Drishty Business Ideation Brainstorming, said that as a son of the soil from Chittagong, he established EDU to remove the problems of higher education of the students of Chittagong. Since its establishment it was his endeavor, in collaboration with other institutions, to uplift EDU to international standard. Meanwhile this institution has claimed recognition as a modern university not only in Chittagong but also throughout the world. Mr. Abdullah Al Noman said that the students of EDU excelled in the field of education as well as literary and cultural sectors.

Being Champion in the Daily Star & Drishty Brainstorming competition the students of EDU proved their worth to the whole nation. Mr. Noman encouraged the students of EDU to be more attentive to their studies so that they can prepare themselves as human resource for future. He also said that as a university of international standard EDU promises to offer all facilities to the students.

This is to mention that EDU became Champion in the Daily Star & Drishty Brainstorming Competition on 28th January 2012 at Hotel Ambrosia among 33 teams from a number of universities and schools. The guest of the Brainstorming competition, distinguished media personality, Mr. Ali Zaker was highly delighted at the performance of the EDU team and lauded that the students from EDU are no way less in competence and skills than those of IBA from DU and NSU. There is no alternative to the innovative and creative initiative of EDU. The Champion team leader Shad Hossain was accompanied by the members: Sumaiya Mehzabin and Zaheida Karim.

To add more to the list, EDU teams were Champion in 2011 and Runner Up in 2010 in the same competition.
