Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Visits EDU

A team from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of the Government of Japan visited the campus of East Delta University (EDU), Agrabad, Chittagong on January 11, 2012, to discuss matters related to offering of internship programs to the Japanese students in Bangladesh. During the discussion, EDU representatives expressed their intention to give their all out support to materialize the program if needed. Japanese representatives extended their wholehearted thanks to the EDU authority and expected to establish a new bridge of friendship between the people of Bangladesh and Japan through such program. Japanese team was represented by Mr. Firoze Shah, President, Chittagong AOTS, Mr. Taro Asan, Producer, Japan Productivity Center, Ms. Miho Furuhashi, Overseas Affairs Coordination Group Training Administration Division, AOTS, Tokyo, Japan. On behalf of EDU Prof. M. Sekandar Khan, Vice Chancellor, EDU, Mr. A. Qaiyum Chowdhury, Registrar (In-Charge), EDU Faculties Dr. M.M. Nurul Absar Nahid, Engr. Rafia Akhter, Mrs. Tabussum Chowdhury, Ms. Tafatun Nesa Chowdhury, Mr. Md. Assaduzzaman, Mr. Rashed al Karim, Mr. Pulak Barua, Mr. M. Khalilur Rahman, Director F&A and Deputy Registrar Mr. Sajal Kanti Barua were present during the discussion.
